On Wednesday June 19, Essintial℠ CEO Tom York was one of the highlight speakers at Interlog 2013 in
San Diego, California. Interlog is the only event bringing together service parts, reverse logistics and aftermarket supply chain executives to discuss trends, strategies, and thought leadership on the future of the industry.
Essintial℠ is thrilled to announce that since its creation in 2010, it has surpassed the 1,000,000th service call milestone.
On June 6, 2013 at approximately 1pm EST a service call was placed to dispatch a technician to a retail location (on behalf of Essintial partner, Certified Retail Solutions) in Brandon, Florida. The problem indicated was a point-of-sale (POS) drawer not functioning properly. Field Technician, Chuck Hilger, received the ticket and proceeded to the on-site location. The issue was resolved successfully and the ticket was closed within the customer’s Service Level Agreement (SLA.)
In late 2012, FedEx approached Essintial℠ about developing a video testimonial on behalf of FedEx Supply Chain. Its purpose was to spotlight the long-term collaboration between Essintial and FedEx, and how Essintial utilizes FedEx Critical Inventory Logistics® forward stocking locations for its inventory management service, along with its key benefits to Essintial customers.
Essintial℠ announced today that it has earned its re-certification as a “green” business from the Institute for Green Business Certification (IGBC) for 2013. IGBC is the oldest organization of its kind and only one of two to certify business environmental practices worldwide.
