We have partnered with one of the industry’s largest companies to secure our data center and protect our data and service delivery systems. The company offers and delivers the most advanced business continuity and disaster response programs available, ensuring our data center and its networks stay up and running. While we can’t predict when the next tropical storm or hurricane will hit the coastline, preparing in advance is an annual objective of Essintial. Our DRT (Disaster Response Team) is compiled of select participants from across our company for disaster response capabilities, and led by our Information Technology team. Our IT team is constantly monitoring storm activity, providing alerts and communications out to customers and employees, and has the ability to activate our command center in a moment’s notice. It is our obligation to you as our customer to ensure your trust and faith in our ability to handle your immediate needs both timely and efficiently. The DRT team works diligently to make sure the right people and tools are in place and ready near the storm’s impacted areas, while providing updates on service restoral efforts and timelines for your business. They also work with other vendor response teams, local and remote network personnel, TAC Management, NOAA & FEMA Alerts, and Local Area Response Centers to coordinate efforts and obtain up-to-date information. The DRT team conducts readiness drills and simulations year-round to keep its disaster response plan, systems, networks and people ready to respond at a moment’s notice.
