On Wednesday June 19, Essintial℠ CEO Tom York was one of the highlight speakers at Interlog 2013 in
San Diego, California. Interlog is the only event bringing together service parts, reverse logistics and aftermarket supply chain executives to discuss trends, strategies, and thought leadership on the future of the industry.
Mr. York’s topic was “Building and Prioritizing End-to-End Customer Value Solutions”. Leveraging his experiences in a 30 year career as an IBM Global Services executive and his tenure at Essintial, Tom took the audience through how to build solutions through the power of partnerships. Considering the speed of technology cycles, need to scale quickly, and affordability, companies large or small should consider partnerships as part of their solution strategy. To execute on this strategy there is a blueprint to follow to ensure partnerships are constructed properly, produce desired results, and are sustainable executives to discuss trends, strategies, and thought leadership on the future of the industry.
As part of his presentation Mr. York highlighted the strategic relationship Essintial has with FedEx Supply Chain Services and used the recently released testimonial video where FedEx spotlighted Essintial.
“A little known fact is for every successful partnership there are close to 4 that fail. In my years, I have seen both the best and worst approaches to building strong, profitable, and sustainable partnerships. The odds of success or failure are determined before the first meeting ever happens with the potential partner” says Mr. York.
